Environmental Impact Statement and Species at Risk Survey (Electrofishing) for Threatened Cutlip Minnow

Dr. McKinley completed a species at risk survey in the St. Lawrence River adjacent to Cornwall, Ontario to support a proposed minor variance for a shore-side development. The species at risk survey was undertaken according to federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans survey protocols using a boat electrofisher. A small population of threatened Cutlip Minnow were documented adjacent to the project area.
Dr. McKinley also undertook an Environmental Impact Statement for the Site to support the minor variance and development proposal. This included an evaluation of regulatory requirements to meet provincial and federal species at risk regulations.
